Sandbox Welcomes Dayan Gunasekera as Chief Financial Officer

At Sandbox, we believe that performance is powered by experience—and the right kind of leadership. We're excited to welcome Dayan Gunasekera to our leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Dayan joins us with over 20 years of experience leading financial strategy and transformation across FMCG, logistics, hospitality, and consulting. Most recently, he served as CFO at the Hirdaramani Group, where he played a key role in driving governance, strategy, and business growth.

A Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK), Dayan also holds an MBA with Merit from PIM. His approach is rooted in turning financial insight into smart, forward-looking business decisions—and mentoring others to do the same.

In addition to his executive role, Dayan will also serve as a Senior Faculty Member at Sandbox, bringing his sharp financial lens into our performance consulting portfolio to help organizations elevate their financial strategy, risk insight, and governance models.
